On March 29, the evening with the famous Russian pianist Yuri Rozum was held with great success at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture.
Yuri Rozum – People’s Artist of Russian Federation and Dagestan, laureate of international competitions, soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic society, academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, professor and head of the special piano department of The Gnessin State Musical College, President of Yuri Rozum International Charitable Foundation.
The main task of the Foundation is working with musically gifted children and teenagers, searching for young talents and their full support. The main difference between the Yuri Rozum Foundation from other charities is that a Foundation provides financial support to young talented musicians aged 7 to 18 years throughout studying in secondary schools up to the admission to the university.
Numerous questions about work, charity, music, favourite composers, hobbies and personal life were asked during the evening with Yury Rozum. The famous pianist gladly answered every question, accompanying his answers with jokes, and increasing the mood of grateful music lovers with this.
The works of Chopin, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky – pianist’s favourite composers were performed during the concert part.
