On October 9, a delegation of school principals and centres for additional education of Moscow met with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Employment of the Republic of Malta at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture. During the meeting representatives of the Ministry told about the formation of the educational system in Malta and the progress of educational reform.
Participants and guests of the meeting were welcomed by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Malta Vladimir Malygin. The Ambassador stressed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Malta, ties between two countries are developing in various fields, and particularly actively in the field of culture and education.
The current visit of the delegation of directors complements and strengthens the level of relations between Russia and Malta in the field of science and education. During the stay in Malta, the delegation will visit several state primary and secondary schools in Malta, private schools and language centres, as well as Maltese colleges that teach students professional programs in technology and art.
