Educational Program "Reading Blockade Book"

For the fourth year in a row, St. Petersburg has gathered young compatriots living abroad for the Educational Program "Reading the Blockade Book", dedicated to the history and events of the times of the siege of Leningrad. This program was developed and organized by the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg. In 2018, it was held from 5 to 11 March and was attended by children aged 12-16 from 15 countries: Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Poland , Ukraine, Finland, Croatia, Estonia. In total, 48 people took part in the program, most of them are students of Russian schools, who were accompanied by parents in this trip, as well as their teachers of history, Russian language and literature.

Cherubin Borg represented Republic of Malta during the Educationap Program.
