Third musical lecture "Winter Fairy Tale"

On January 15, the third lecture series “Winter Fairy Tale” dedicated to the Old New Year was held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in cooperation with the International School-Studio of Arts in Malta, the company "World Harmony" and the Educational Centre "Rainbow". The lecturer of the event was the teacher of theoretical disciplines Marina Ivanova.

During the lecture, she not only spoke about the exciting winter musical pieces, but also held games, introducing kids to the world of traditional Yuletide carols. Some of the carols were performed by children.

The program included pieces from the famous cycle "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi and “The Seasons” by Tchaikovsky, as well as the "Nutcracker" ballet. Musical pieces were presented by Alexandra Orlova (violin), Kristina Golubeva (piano) and Jose Maria Castro Alonso (saxophone, flute, clarinet).

The audience could participate in games, riddles guessing, could play with Father Frost.

In the end of the event the audience had a chance to sing karaoke of New Year and Christmas songs: Jingle Bells Rock, Snowflake from the film “Magicians" and Happy New Year by «ABBA».

After the performance children and their parents gave good feedbacks about the event.
