Flower-laying Ceremony on the occasion of Diplomats’ Day

On February 9, 2017 on the occasion of the Russian holiday – Diplomats’ Day, on an ancient historical cemetery of Malta – Ta’Braxia, a flower-laying ceremony took place at the grave of the Russian diplomat and statesman, historian of Patriotic War of 1812 K. Voyensky de Breze who emigrated in 1919 and was buried in Malta.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Malta Vladimir Malygin, head of Mission of Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo Arthur Matikyan, employees of the Russian Embassy and the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, representatives of the European Foundation for Support of Culture and Maltese-Russian Friendship Foundation, the Board members of the Coordination Council of Russian compatriots Assembly, representatives of National fund of preservation of monuments and nature of Malta Din l-Art Helwa, representatives of the Maltese public, as well as Russian compatriots living in Malta participated in the ceremony.
