In the framework of the international project "Russia – love without borders" that is organised by Rossotrudnichestvo in 80 countries around the world, the Competition for young reciters "Spring. Woman. Love." was held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture on March 9. This event has become a traditional gift for women on International Women's day. The participants of the competition were students of Russian language courses at RCSC, students of the school of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Malta, students of Boarding-school "Malta Crown" and of Saint Martin College.
Poems devoted to spring, awakening of nature, spring feelings, and women were performed by young reciters.
26 children from age of 5 to 17 attended the competition. They were divided into three groups. All performers were judged by 3 criterions: expressiveness, originality, artistry.
All participants received certificates and the winners got sweet prizes.
A special gratitude was expressed to the teachers who prepared the candidates: Orlova T., Bondarenko S., Vysocina E., Afanasyeva E., Oreshnikova A.
All ladies, the guests of RCSC, were presented with cards, calendars, ribbons with Russian tricolor and hand-made bracelets.
